Report a Bad Ad' | Bupleurum gerardii ![]() © 2009 Daniel W. Reed This plant was first noticed in Wilson County, Tennessee in 2004 by Patricia B. Cox Ph.D, Senior Botanist with the Tennessee Valley Authority Natural Heritage Project and was later identified as an exotic plant native to the Mediterranean area of Europe where it is rare. It seems that it grows larger and is found in much greater numbers here than in it's native environs. It is feared that it may be a threat to endangered speces in this area as it has been found in Cedar Glade areas. |
